Parkland High School graduate
Carol P. Adams, 80, of Allentown, died July 30, 2026, after a brief stay at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown.
She was the wife of Glenn W. Adams, Jr., with whom she recently shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Kermit A. and Mae I. (Dorney) Bealer.
She was a member of Mountain View Bible Church of Germansville, New Tripoli.
She was a 1963 graduate of Parkland High School.
Before retiring, she worked as a bus driver for the Parkland School District for 19 years and she was a waitress as well as served as the food service coordinator at Faith Church.
For 10 years, she volunteered for the Lehigh Valley Hospital Chaplaincy Program “No One Dies Alone,” and she volunteered many years at Cedarbrook Nursing Home and for TEAMS for Medical Missions.
She is survived by husband Glenn; daughter Tracie, wife of Mark DeCrosta of Upper Macungie Twp; sons Keith W. and his wife Christin of Macungie, Bryan A. and his wife Amanda of Meridian, Idaho; grandchildren Charley, Wesley, Avery and Aubrey.
She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas A. and Ronald G.
Her funeral service took place Aug. 5 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown.
Memorials can be considered in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o the funeral home.
