Mary Teresa Martignetti, 95, formerly of Zionsville, died July 30, 2026. She was the wife of the late Joseph Martignetti Sr. Born in Hereford, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Sarah Clara (Large) Bauer.

She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and Drexel University, where she earned a degree in home economics.

She was a stay-at-home mother and also taught tailoring at night school. Later, she taught preschool at one of the local churches.

She and her husband raised their family in Lansdowne and later retired to property in Powder Valley, near Hereford.

Her last years were spent at EverTrue Luther Crest.

She was an active member of the local P.E.O. chapter.

She is survived by her children, Joseph F. Jr. (Sandra), James B. (Susan), Louise M. Bechtel (Edward), Susan M. Stuebe (Todd) and John P. (Ellen); 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary L.; her grandson, Kurtis.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. A calling period will be held in the church 10-10:45 a.m.
