Alfred Matthew Yankovic was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Downey, Calif.

His “Bigger and Weirder” tour is a multimedia comedy rock show with his long-time band jointed by four additional musicians.

Yankovic, a five-time Grammy Award winner, is known for his parodies of hits by Madonna, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift, Queen, U2 and Lady Gaga, including “Amish Paradise,” “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Word Crimes” and the platinum-selling “White & Nerdy.”

Yankovic released a polka medley, “Polkamania!” in 2024, featuring his take on “Flowers,” “Bad Guy” and “Old Town Road.”

Yankovic married Suzanne Krajewski in 2001. They and their daughter live in Los Angeles. Yankovic, a Christian, abstains from profanity, alcohol and drugs.
