Grupo Niche is a Colombian salsa orchestra founded in 1978 in Bogotá, Colombia.

The group is recognized by critics and audiences as one of the most successful Latin music groups in the last four decades.

In 1990, Jairo Varela produced “Cielo de Tambores,” the group’s most successful album.

The songs “Una Aventura,” “Busca por Dentro,” “Se parecido tanto a ti,” “Sin Sentimiento,” “Cali Ají” and “Debiera Olvidarla” broke new ground and were successful throughout Latin America. 

The group has received nominations at the Latin Grammy Awards and Anglo Grammy Awards in 2016, wins at each ceremony in 2020, additional Latin Grammy wins in 2023 and Anglo Grammy Award nominations in 2026.
