Pearl Chwastiak, 97, of Emmaus, died July 23, 2026, at Complete Care at Lehigh, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Steve Chwastiak, who died March 14, 2006. Born in Pitman, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Theodora (Masley) Koziar.

She was a graduate of Hegins High School, Class of 1947.

She worked in the guidance counselor office as a secretary at Emmaus High School for many years until retiring.

She was a member of Solomon’s UCC, Macungie.

She loved gardening, polka music and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Graham, Mark (Michele), Stephen; grandchildren, Emily Adams, Rebecca Graham, Brittany Prost (Travis), Alina, Evan; sister, Sally Gordon.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Ted, Andrew, Paul, Peter and Philip Koziar, Olga Machusky, and Anna Kostishak.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Aug. 1 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.BKRFH.com.
