Katharina Bauder, 97, of Emmaus, died at home, surrounded by her loving family May 31, 2026. Her husband, Dean Oliver Bauder, died Dec. 20, 2018. Born in Gaden, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Maria Sellmaier.

She and her husband were co-owners of the former Deano’s Drive-In in Emmaus.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, the Women’s Club and the Garden Club, all of Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane K. Zinggeler and her husband, Scott; sister, Martha; grandchildren, Nicole and Michael LeDoux; great-granddaughter, Hailey. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas, in 1982; and sister, Mary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Bible Fellowship Church.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Aug. 2 at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus.
