Shirley Ann Hippensteal, 79, of Whitehall, formerly of Bethlehem, died July 11, 2026, at Whitehall Manor. She was born in Fountain Hill to the late Harold and Margaret (Jones) Grube, and she was the wife of the late Wilbert Roland Hippensteal.

A proud housewife, Shirley devoted her life to creating a nurturing home for her children, and later for her grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy in her life.

She found happiness in the simple pleasures-whether it was tending to her pool or enjoying Bingo at Whitehall Manor with friends.

She is survived by; children Michael Hippensteal of Allentown, Tracy Walczer and her husband Jeffrey of Northampton; grandchildren: Feleshia S. Hippensteal, Brittany K. Knauss, Ashley T. Knauss, Cailynn R. Walczer; great-grandchildren Stormm Castillo, Shyla Castillo, Abel Santana, and Cleo Santana. She was predeceased by her siblings Franklin Grube, Kenneth Grube and Lucille Benek.
