Mark R. Walsh
Mark R. Walsh, 61, of Coplay, North Whitehall Township, died suddenly July 17, 2026, in his home. He was the husband of Donna M. (Anthony). They were married 35 years. Born in Allentown and raised in Egypt, Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Charles T. and Helen P. (Kuchera) Walsh.
He was self-employed as a master plumber for more than 40 years, retiring in 2017.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt, Whitehall Township.
A 1983 graduate of the Whitehall High School, he continued his education at Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, earning his master plumber certificate.
He was a member of the NOVA EMS, Egypt.
He enjoyed gardening and caring for his dog, Sadie, parrot, Mia and coin collecting. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Denver Broncos football team and the NY Mets baseball team.
He is survived by his wife; son, Mark R. II, of Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter, Laura R. Walsh-Polanco, wife of Khristian Polanco, of Alburtis; brothers, Charles D. and his wife Cindy, of Northampton, Daniel J. and his wife, Nancy, of Bradenton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation and NIH-National Institutes of Health in care of the funeral home.
Services will be held noon July 22 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. Calling hours are 10 a.m. to noon in the funeral home.
