Assault
A 32-year-old female, of Easton, was struck in the face and abdomen while inside a vehicle being operated by an ride-share driver June 25, according to Salisbury police. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment. The incident was reported June 25 and remains under investigation.
Assault arrests
A 31-year-old female, of no known address, was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct at the Lehigh County Detox Center, 1620 Riverside Drive, June 26 after she allegedly slapped and punched another person multiple times in the head and face and causing injury, according to Salisbury police.
A 65-year-old female, of the 1500 block of East Emmaus Avenue, was charged with simple assault June 29 after she allegedly threw a lamp down a set of stairs at another person, striking the person and causing injury, according to Salisbury police.
DUI
A 33-year-old male motorist, of Easton, was arrested for driving under the influence and other vehicle code violations June 27 after his vehicle allegedly was seen swerving in the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police.
A 54-year-old male motorist, of Allentown, was charged with driving under the influence and a related charge after his vehicle allegedly was seen swerving in the 700 block of East Susquehanna Street June 27, according to Salisbury police.
A 43-year-old male motorist, of Kempton, was taken into custody for driving under the influence and related vehicle violations after he was seen allegedly swerving over a double yellow line and nearly crashing head-on into an oncoming vehicle in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue June 28, according to Salisbury police.
Loitering and prowling
A 32-year-old female was charged June 30 with alleged loitering and prowling, defiant trespass, simple trespass, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct at a residence in the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police.
Drug possession
A 35-year-old female, of Lehighton, was charged June 26 with simple possession and having drug paraphernalia after she allegedly was in possession of a white powder that field tested positive for methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia, while at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police.
Wanted person arrests
A 28-year-old male was taken into custody June 29 after a traffic stop near South Fourth and Susquehanna streets, according to Salisbury police. He was found to be a wanted person out of Bensalem Township, according to authorities.
A 45-year-old male was taken into custody June 29 after a traffic stop in the 3300 block of West Emaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. He was found to have open arrest warrants, according to authorities.
Missing adult
On June 30 Salisbury officers responded to an area of Fish Hatchery Road near Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, for a report of a missing nonverbal adult. Salisbury Township Police Department officers, a K-9 unit, the fire department and the Lehigh County Drone Team searched the surrounding area and the missing adult female was found unharmed a few hours later and safely returned home, according to Salisbury police.
Mutual aid
Officers assisted Allentown Police in the area of South Fourth Street and West Emmaus Avenue for a report of an unconscious person inside a motor vehicle June 24, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were requested to the 1300 block of Broadway in Fountain Hill for a large group of mopeds traveling through the area without registration June 25, according to Salisbury police.
Disturbances
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Savercool Avenue June 23, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a disturbance at restaurant Perkins, 3400 Lehigh St., June 24, according to Salisbury police.
Officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of East Emmaus Avenue June 26, according to Salisbury police.
