Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan and Fountain Hill Police Chief Ed Bachert have announced a guilty plea and state prison sentence for a man charged in a 2025 shooting that injured three people.
Anthony Estrella, 19, of Fountain Hill, pleaded guilty June 2 to three felony counts of attempted criminal homicide. The remaining charges were withdrawn as part of the guilty plea. Judge Anna-Krisie M. Marks sentenced Estrella to serve a total of 20 to 50 years in state prison. Just before 10 a.m. on July 4, 2025, an argument on the porch of a home in the 900 block of Delaware Avenue led to the shootings. The investigation revealed that during the verbal altercation, two people tried to get Estrella to leave. Estrella pulled out a gun and shot three victims identified as Andrew Hernandez, Aaliyah Cheeves and Giana Falcon.
Estrella also accidentally shot himself in the process and had his mother take him to an area hospital, where he was later taken into custody.
All three victims had to undergo surgery for their injuries.
