The Bethlehem Police Department responded to a car accident involving a pedestrian in the 2400 block of Linden Street the early morning of July 9.

Around 4:13 a.m. officers found a 31-year-old man unconscious in the street. He was transported to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Officers found the car involved and preliminary investigations indicate the man may have been lying in the street at the time; the only damage to the vehicle was to its undercarriage.

Police ask anyone who witnessed the collision, encountered the victim around that time or with recordings or doorbell camera footage of the area come forward to help investigators reconstruct the victim’s movements before the crash.
