Ross pours in 26 points in OT win
Emmaus won a pair of games last week to climb into the top half of the Lehigh Valley Boys Summer High School League standings.
The Hornets (5-3) beat Freedom 66-47 last Wednesday behind a 14-point effort from Tyler Leman. That win came two days after Emmaus survived a 53-51 overtime game against with Jake Ross pouring in a team-high 26 points in the Hornet win.
The wins moved Emmaus into sixth place in the 20-team league.
The league resumed Monday at Executive Education Charter School, but this Wednesday’s games are postponed to July 1 due to parking conflicts with the IronPigs. Next week will follow the same schedule with games Monday, June 15. Next Wednesday’s games are again postponed from June 24 to Monday, July 6, concluding the regular season. Playoffs will be held immediately at the conclusion of the regular season.
