Whitehall Township Public Library is accepting fresh produce donations 9 a.m.-4 p.m. every Monday. All donations go to local food banks through the Plant A Row program.

Teen night is set for 4 p.m. July 10. Our teenaged patrons can stay late after the library closes to the public to enjoy food, games and fun!

Storytime yoga will be held 4:30 p.m. July 13 for youth ages 6-10 and 10 a.m. July 27 for tots ages 3-5.

Make your own dinosaur-themed snack with Valley Nutrition and Wellness at the Little Food Explorers program 3:30 p.m. July 14 for ages 3-6. They will visit us again July 22 for ages 7-11 at Snack Attack.

Larissa Noto, of the Lovely Little Lotus, will lead our adult patrons through the art of mindful breathing 6:30 p.m. July 14. Participants will practice breath with seasonal themes to make the practices relevant, meaningful and easy to apply in daily life.

Creation Station: Explore Your Senses is set for 6 p.m. July 15. Kids in grades 3-6 can enjoy STEAM projects once a month.

Christina’s Reptiles will visit the library 12:30 p.m. July 18. Meet a wide range of reptiles at this drop-in program.

Super Science and Amazing Art presents the Diggin’ Dinos program 6 p.m. July 21. Let’s explore dinosaurs, what they ate, where they lived and why they are extinct.

Everyone will go on an archaeological dig to find some dinosaur bones.

The Dino-rarium for adults program allows participants to make their own dinosaur habitat. It is set for 6 p.m. July 23.

The library has many clubs that meet monthly.

The adult book club meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.

The adult coloring club meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays.

A Good Yarn will meet 6 p.m. the third Tuesday for knitters, crocheters or other needle crafters.

The Teen Advisory Board meets 1:30 p.m. one Saturday a month for teens interested in volunteering at the library.

The library is open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Renovations are still ongoing as crews work to make the library more accessible. Staff will try to keep the building open as much as possible, but there may be some schedule changes when necessary.
