Rosalie A. Radio
Rosalie A. Radio, 79, of Allentown, died peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospital June 24, 2026. She was the cherished wife of Dr. Gregory J. Radio. They were married 54 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Agatha (Pechacek) Wallitsch.
She was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem and former member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Allentown, where she and her husband were married.
After a career at Mack Trucks, Rosalie devoted herself to serving others. She was a PTA president at Parkway Manor Elementary School, supported many South Parkland Youth Association teams as a team mom and assisted her husband in organizing events and fundraisers for the Penn State Alumni Association Lehigh Valley Chapter.
For more than two decades, she volunteered at her church, providing administrative support, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, leading the youth group and, in recent years, making pierogies and baking cookies, cakes and other treats to further support church operations. Quiet, humble, and compassionate, she never sought recognition, yet her kindness touched countless lives.
She is survived by her husband; son, Scott and his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Keri Tomsic and her husband, Jason; grandchildren, Ethan, Owen, Talia, Jones; sisters, Maryann Kuti (Guy), Kathleen Wood (David); sister-in-law, Nancy (Jay); beloved four step-grandchildren; six nephews; one niece.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Wallitsch; her sister, Cynthia; her brother-in-law, John “Jay.”
