The Wanderers have opened the season unbeaten, compiling a 6-0-1 record to have them sit at the top of the NORCO standings.
The club have outscored their opponents 76-23 on the season, showing a potent offense and a pitching staff that has controlled games.
Their biggest win of the season came in a 25-2 rout of the Knights. The Wanderers also posted shutout wins over Birches 10-0 and Roseto 5-0, while limiting East Stroudsburg to just one run in a 10-1 victory.
The offense has reached double figures four times, adding an 11-6 win over Nazareth to its list of convincing performances. The team has been tested twice this season, edging Northampton 8-7 and battling Hellertown to a 7-7 tie.
Freemansburg has experienced a mixed start to the season, posting a 2-4 record while showing flashes of strong offensive production in several games.
The team’s most dominating win came in a 16-6 victory over the Knights, setting a familiar trend for the Knights being an elixir for teams looking for wins this season. They also picked up a 9-1 win over Birches
In its other contests, Freemansburg dropped a narrow 3-2 loss to East Stroudsburg and setbacks against Nazareth 5-1, Northampton 14-4 and Hellertown 11-1.
