Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will be hosting a patriotic concert by the Pioneer Band of Allentown 6:30 p.m. July 1. The concert will take place in the upper parking lot of the church.

There will be food trucks, too. Stop by and celebrate your patriotism!

Now that we have officially entered into the summer season, we are sure to experience heat waves and hot days. Remember to check in on your elderly friends and neighbors to ensure they are keeping cool and hydrating. Also, make sure your pets have fresh water and a cool place indoors.

The mall is a large air-conditioned area, which is a great way to cool off and get your steps in — while maybe catching a sale!
