Virginia E. (Annis) Allen, 99, of Allentown, formerly of Orefield, died, June 15, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John W. Allen. Born in Trousdale, Edwards County, Kansas, April 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Tracy Earl and Elizabeth B. (Baxter) Annis.

She is survived by children, Michael J. (Anthony Voros) of Allentown, Patrick S. (Sonya) of Spokane, Wash., Thomas L. Allen (Kathy) of Garden City, Kan., Kathleen A. Snyder (Dennis) of Orefield; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

She was predeceased by a son, William J. and a granddaughter, Dena K. (Snyder) Dalmas.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. June 22, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.

Entombment will follow the service at Chapel of Eternity Mausoleum, Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
