Bruce C. Laub, 86, of Schnecksville died June 13, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. He was the husband of the late Sally Catherine (Heffelfinger). Born in Neffs, Jan. 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Lorraine A. (Hoffman) Laub Musselman.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. A member of the Lehigh Valley Builders Association, he owned and operated Laub Builders, LLC., in Schnecksville from 1971 — 2007.
He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company, and a life member of Community Fire Company No. 1, Schnecksville.
His survivors include his companion, Shirley A. Heydt; son Scott C. of New Tripoli; daughter Cheryl L. Matos (Chuck) of South Carolina; a sister, Sandra M. Waters of Fleetwood; a brother, Robert L. (Karlene) of Walnutport; and grandchildren Bradley, Tyler, Rhys, Autumn, Hannah, Mark, Emily and Bryce. He was predeceased by a brother, Dale.
A private funeral service will be held June 19, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., in Schnecksville with the Rev. Kayli L. Freeman officiating. No public calling hours.
