Gerald R. “Jerry” Bogert, formerly of Emmaus, died in his home June 8, 2026. He was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Kollar) Bogert. Born in Mertztown, he was the son of the late Herbert Russell Bogert and Dorothy Mae (Kercher) Bogert.

He worked at Vinart Dealerships for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp and was a classic car enthusiast. He was very proud of his 1966 Dodge Charger.

He is survived by children, Holly (Dan Casey), Cortney (Erik Dalen), Jeremy (Amy), Joseph (Kristen); grandchildren, Lea, Zachary, Jakob, Lilla, Jaxon, Ella, Hayden, Paul, Levi; great-grandchildren, Giana and Marina.
