Corsi named new Becahi AD
Bethlehem Catholic has announced the appointment of Matt Corsi as its new athletic director.
Corsi succeeds Steve Tomaszewski, who served in the role since July 1, 2024.
A 1999 Bethlehem Catholic graduate, Corsi brings a deep connection to the school and its athletic tradition. A former player under legendary Golden Hawks baseball coach Mike Grasso, Corsi has led the Bethlehem Catholic baseball program for the past six seasons, compiling a 74-64 record and guiding the Golden Hawks to District 11 Class 4A championships in 2021 and 2024. He will continue to serve as the school’s head baseball coach.
“I am blessed to be the next Athletic Director of Bethlehem Catholic High School, and I am honored to be entrusted with upholding the tradition of athletic excellence for the Golden Hawks,” Corsi said.
Principal Dr. Dean Donaher praised Corsi’s selection, citing his leadership and commitment to the Bethlehem Catholic community.
“Matt’s deep roots in the Bethlehem Catholic community, combined with his leadership as a coach and educator, make him exceptionally well-suited to lead our athletic department,” Donaher said.
In addition to his time at Bethlehem Catholic, Corsi has served as an assistant baseball coach at Allen and Allentown Central Catholic and has built strong relationships throughout the Lehigh Valley athletic community. He is currently serving as a coach for the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup baseball team.
Bethlehem Catholic extended its gratitude to Tomaszewski for his years of service as an athletic director, teacher and coach.
“His commitment to the Bethlehem Catholic community has left a lasting impact, and the school wishes him all the best in his future endeavors,” the school said in a statement.
As athletic director, Corsi will oversee the continued growth and success of Bethlehem Catholic’s athletic programs while preserving the tradition of excellence that has long defined Golden Hawks athletics.
