The summer concert series will see the Boondock Barons perform 7-10 p.m. June 19 at Catasauqua Park and Playground’s amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be having the next game night June 20. Come out with a favorite board game, and bring along a friend.

Catty Seniors Plus will next meet June 24 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua. The doors open noon, and the meeting starts 1 p.m.

Coffee, tea and desserts will be served, and bingo will be played.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will celebrate Christmas in July the month of July with a lot of items for Christmas. The sale runs July 2-31.

The thrift shop volunteers are happy to accept donations of used, clean clothing, household items and toys during regular store hours.

The shop’s hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
