Doris E. Moyer, 95, formerly of South Whitehall Twp., died May 30, 2026, at Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Moyer. Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Stella Sunday.

She was a member of the former Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church where she was active with church activities and the choir. Later she attended Horizon Church, Allentown. She was a Marine veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Before retiring, she worked as an LPN at the Allentown General Hospital and as a private duty nurse. During the 1970s, she was an ambulance driver for HMS. She will be remembered for helping with her grandchildren, baking, cookouts with neighbors, playing pinochle and vegetable gardening.

Her survivors include son Daniel T. and his wife Michele of Emmaus; daughter Rebecca L., wife of Gregory Sullivan of Tamaqua; 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Services are at 11 a.m. June 5 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Calling hours will begin at 10 a.m.
