LV Diamond Classic to take place
The Second Annual Lehigh Valley Diamond Classic, scheduled for June 10 at Pates Park, Allentown, will feature senior all-star softball players who were chosen by their high school coaches to play in an east vs. west game.
Playing on the East Team are Easton’s Emily Materna and Thalia Burns, Wilson’s Brianna Williams, Bangor’s Kalynn Figurski, Cameron Howarth, and Kelli Snow, Pen Argyl’s Ashlyn Oessenick, Nazareth’s Gianna Perillo, Briana Recchia, Kylie Grover, and Taylor Friel, Northampton’s Hannah Duerr, Catasauqua’s Makayla Bird, Freedom’s Namelia Duro and Landry Guman, Liberty’s Leah Onia and Adelynn Smith, Notre Dame’s Kelsey Bedics, Saucon Valley’s Matty Seyfried and Ryan Gall, Pocono Mountain East’s Karlie Jurasits, Stroudsburg’s Dorothy Elko, Madison Perez, Isabella Thomas, and Katren Lavra, and East Stroudsburg South’s Johanna Carey.
Playing on the West Team are Northwestern’s Abby Dunstan, Lily Kinnon, Lizzie Diehl, Molly Schlofer, Ella Bressi, and Emma Freeman, Parkland’s Addison Fritzinger, Ami Patel, and Elizabeth Pinkham, Palisades’ Catie Russo, Emmaus’ Brianna Gitski, Southern Lehigh’s Demi Lewis and Isabella Germani, Northern Lehigh’s Kylee Snyder and Aubrey Reinhard, Whitehall’s Josie Shultz, Molly McFetridge, and Morgan Laub, Jim Thorpe’s Hannah Zacharias, Palmerton’s Grace Schneider and Hailey Barry, Lehighton’s Morgan Myers and Keira Herman, Dieruff’s Jennibel Cerda Liz and Nylyn Gomez, Allentown Central Catholic’s Kairi Charles, Hailey Kahr, and Jenna Dalrymple, and Pocono Mountain West’s Julia Macphee and Sam Rider.
First pitch will take place at the conclusion of a game between the 2026 Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup Team and the 2025 Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup Team, scheduled for 5 p.m.
Rain date for both games is June 11.
