Michael J. Clarke, 89, of Lower Macungie Township and formerly of The Bronx, N.Y., died in his home May 28, 2026. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Quigney) Clarke for 53 years. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late Michael and Johanna (Sullivan) Clarke.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He worked at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. for many years until retiring as an electrician.

He could fix anything and he had many inventions.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Alison Black; granddaughter, Faline Black; brother, Daniel and his wife, Maureen.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Margaret and Joanne.
