Joann E. (Helfrich) Hunsicker, 83, of Kunkletown, formerly of Walnutport, died May 21, 2026, at Mrs. Bush’s Personal Care Home, Kunkletown. She was the wife of the late Lee B. Hunsicker. Born in Ironton, she was the daughter of the late Stewart A. and Helen E. (Henry) Helfrich.

She was employed as the office manager of Sound Celebrations in Whitehall for 15 years before retiring in 2003. Throughout her married life, she assisted her husband in the operation of their family farm in Walnutport. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Kunkletown. She was an honored volunteer for Dream Come True and a former Girl Scout Leader.

She is survived by daughters, Connie A. Muschko (Michael), of Northampton, Kay L. Adams (Robert Raughley), of Kunkletown, Penny L. Hawk (Mitch Jr.), of Saylorsburg; sister, Carolyn H. Bostick, of Whitehall; brother, Paul G. Helfrich (Louise), of North Whitehall Township; granddaughters, Alena, Kaylee.

She was predeceased by a brother, Woodrow S. Helfrich.
