Lucille L. (Metzger) Blose, 92, of Coplay, died May 15, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Clifford F. Blose. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Allen E. And Anna C. (Schlosser) Metzger.

She was employed as a clerk for District Magistrate offices located in North Whitehall Township, South Whitehall Township and the Borough of Slatington for 27 years before retiring. Active in the life of her community, she volunteered her time at the Schnecksville Fair, Community Fire Co. No. 1, Schnecksvillle, NOVA Auxiliary, the former Upper Lehigh Lioness Club and as secretary / organizer of the North Whitehall 1976 Bicentennial committee.

She is survived by children, Nina A. Dresser (Robert), of Slatington, Jody C. (Sarah Volpe), of Coplay, Gaye C. Haas (Ronald), of Coplay; brother, Arnold A. Metzger (Sharon), of Germansville; sister, Ethel E. DeBellis (Ernest), of Schnecksville; sisters-in-law, Carol Snyder, of Schnecksville, Marilyn Cerrone, of Slatington; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great- great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clair Metzger.
