Gary Joseph Urban, 90, of Bethlehem, died April 25, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Muhlenburg. He was the son of the late John and Frances (Spaar) Urban. He was the husband of Lucille R. (Voytko) Urban for 50 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era.

He had a successful career as a supervisor in the telecommunications industry, retiring from the former Western Electric.

He was a member of St. Thomas U.C.C.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and treasured the moments spent at his cabin and traveling to Canada. He was a fan of the Phillies and Flyers, and he treasured the companionship of his beloved dogs, Barney and Winnie.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; stepchildren Linda (Raymond) Rohne and Michael (Tracey) Jefferson; children, Pamela (Timothy) Briody, Gary Michael (Cheryl) Urban, and Melissa (Brian) Stewart; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia and brother, John.
