Mayfair Festival of the Arts concerts

Audience favorite bands highlight Mayfair Festival of the Arts, May 22 - May 24, Cedar Crest College, Allentown.

The free festival which serves as the unofficial kickoff for summer in the Lehigh Valley, has 15 performers and bands at its two stages during the three-day event.

Opening the festival May 22 on the Main Stage are the Rogue Diplomats, with traditional Irish music infused with contemporary American folk, and headliner Go Go Gadjet, which combines traditional instruments with synthesizers.

At the Artist Market Stage on May 22 is pop-jazz singer Kristen Morgenstern.

Opening the Main Stage May 23 is long-time fan favorite The Large Flowerheads, followed by the Billy Bauer Band. Evening performances are highlighted by The Wonton Soups, with originals and covers influenced by ska and funk, and new headliner Steal The Sky, with pop, rock and dance.

At the Artist Market Stage May 23, performing are singer-songwriters Stacy Gabel, Erin Kelly and Kendal Conrad.

Opening the Main Stage May 24 is 1980s’ tribute band Class of ā€˜84 and The Castaway Band with classic rock. Headlining the Main Stage is funk party band Philadelphia Funk Authority, followed by the drone show to end the festival.

On the Artist Market Stage May 24 is the debut of 15-year-old singer-songwriter Adeline Csontos along with singer Melody Cruz, performing covers and originals.
