Richard J. Erickson, 48, of Slatington, died May 3, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest – Allentown, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Laura A. (Bridges) Erickson for five years. Born in Mount Joy, he was the son of the late Sven G. Erickson Jr. and the late Patricia L. (Leugers) Erickson.

A 1997 graduate of Parkland High School, he continued his education at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville. He later worked as a dedicated courier for Sam Guido Laboratories in Neffs.

He faithfully attended men’s Bible study in Germansville and treasured the friendships and fellowship he found there.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Korbin, of Addison; daughter, Heather, of Indiana, Pa.; brother, David A. (Kara), of Phoenix, Ariz.; uncles; aunt; cousins, two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy McKenna.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
