Northampton: Wheels on the Canal planned for May 16
Wheels on the Canal is set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 16 at Canal Street Park. The car show also includes food and craft vendors, as well as music and plenty of fun.
This year marks the eighth and final year for the event, so come and help make it special!
The rain date is set for May 17.

The Siegfried Railroad Station Museum will be open to visitors, for the first time this year, 1-4 p.m. May 17. The station is located at West 21st and Canal streets.
The station houses artifacts from Northampton and the surrounding area. Still available for viewing this year are displays of churches and the town of Kreidersville. New is an exhibit honoring the 250th birthday of our country.
There is no charge to visit the museum, but donations are always welcome.

The annual Wynnewood Estates garage and yard sale will take place 7 a.m.-3 p.m. May 23 at the corner of Atlas Lane and 600 Buckingham Drive in Northampton. There will be at least 50 participants.
Stop by, and you could find a treasure.

Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 will conduct memorial tributes at the gravesides of fallen comrades around the borough on Memorial Day May 25.
The VFW will be at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary cemetery 8:30 a.m.; St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic cemetery 9 a.m.; Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox cemetery starting 9:30 a.m.; and Our Lady of Hungary cemetery 10 a.m. At each cemetery, they will perform a brief ceremony that will consist of the national anthem, a prayer, a song, roll call, a rifle salute and echo taps.
In addition, Northampton Joint Veterans, consisting of American Legion Post 353, Catholic War Veterans Post 454 and VFW Post 4714 will conduct a memorial tribute for all their fallen comrades starting 11 a.m. at the veterans plaza, 14th Street and Dewey Avenue.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is registering for the 2026-27 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The class size is limited to 12 children, and children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The class size is limited to 16 children, and children need to be toilet trained for this class.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The class size is limited to 16 children, and children need to be toilet trained for this class.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
