A 23-year-old Northampton man died May 10 after a crash involving a motorcycle and motor vehicle in Allentown.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Xzavier Delgado was pronounced dead in the emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Delgado was the operator of a motorcycle that collided with a motor vehicle in the area of North 11th and West Tilghman streets, Allentown.

Buglio ruled the manner of death as an accident.

Delgado died from blunt force injuries, according to Buglio.

In addition to the coroner’s office, the Allentown Police Department, the Allentown Police Traffic Unit and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
