The Catasauqua Middle School Lifeskills students will see “Seussical” at Pennsylvania Youth Theatre May 14.

End-of-the-year field days are here. Sixth-grade field day is set for May 14, seventh-grade field day is May 19, and the eighth-grade field day is May 21.

Rain dates for the field days will be the week of May 26.

The eighth-grade formal dance is scheduled for 5:30-8:30 p.m. May 16.

Eighth-grade students will take the algebra Keystone exams May 19 and 20.

The next CMS parent teacher forum meeting is set for 6 p.m. May 19.

Field trips are being scheduled for the end of the year. Fifth-grade students will go to Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum May 22, sixth-graders will visit SkyZone May 28, and seventh-grade students be will going to Urban Air May 29.

Schools will be closed May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday.

There will be early dismissals June 8-10. CMS students will be dismissed 11 a.m.

No lunches will be served.

The last day of the 2025-26 academic year is June 10.

Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St., holds its gaming club, for kids and teens, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. Help is available for newcomers, and library computers will be at your service during those times. You can also use your own device on the library’s wifi.

Powerballers Athletic Center, 2550 Brodhead Road, Bethlehem, is planning its 2026 summer camps for football, soccer, field hockey, flag football, baseball, softball and more. The camps run June through August.
