Bath invites community for day of music, food, fun

Bath Borough kicked off its inaugural Bath Blooms, Brews and BBQ event May 2, bringing a fresh new festival experience for its residents and beyond at the borough’s spacious Ciff Cowling Field, 301 Allen St. It was a pleasant afternoon filled with live music, food trucks, local vendors and family-friendly activities.

The main stage music lineup included TimeWhys 1-3 p.m., and Joyous 4-6 p.m. Attendees seemed to enjoy the music, with some getting up to dance on a makeshift dance floor on the grass near the band stage.

Food was offered by a variety of food trucks and stands that included Rory Rooster, R&D Specialty Foods, DonutNV, LoriAnn’s Food for the Soul and refreshments by Easton Wine Project and Thrill or Chill 2Moods Vodka Orange Crush.

2Moods offered two options, with one option favored when wanting to wind down and chill and the other for more of a thrill. Visit drink2moods.com for more information.

A variety of attractions greeted attendees, including Zoo For You from Quakertown, noted as a traveling petting zoo, that featured a miniature horse, little goats and rabbits for kids and the young-at-heart to pet. The petting zoo can be booked for your next event by calling 215-407-5262 or visiting azooforyou.net.

Kids had face painting and inflatable activity stations, including baseball and a basketball stations that added to the fun experience.

Highly skilled paintings were offered for sale by Echoes in Color artist Leah Ruscitto, of Breinigsville. She is accepting custom art commissions, so call her at 610-417-2381 or visit her Instagram page for more information.

“Let’s create something together,” Ruscitto said.
