Christine Garganta - certified medical assistant

certified medical assistant

Christine Garganta, 50, of Bethlehem, died May 7, 2026, as a result of injuries sustained from a residential fire. She was the daughter of the late Albert “Moe” Garganta and Eleanor L. “Ellie” (Reichley) Garganta.

She was a 1994 graduate of Liberty HS. She attended Northampton Community College, where she earned her associate degree, and later furthered her education at Allentown Business School.

She worked as a certified medical assistant in the medical billing departments of a few local organizations, most recently Secure Healthcare Information Management.

She was known for being loud, honest and unapologetically herself, always speaking her mind with no filter. She shared an especially close bond with her mother, who was truly her best friend. In a heartbreaking coincidence, Christine passed on the four-year anniversary of her mother’s passing. She also deeply loved her pit bull, Gemma, who died by her side.

She is survived by: her brother, Michael Garganta and his wife, Tiffany; her niece, Natalie; her nephew, Noah; as well as extended family and many friends.

Contributions may be made to the Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.

Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home.
