Robert A. Kelchner, 99, of Allentown, died April 26, 2026, at Atrium of Allentown. He was the husband of the late Evelyn R. (Stratz). Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Margaret (Lane) and Robert F. Kelchner.

He was a 1945 graduate of Allentown High School. Earning the rank of corporal, he was an Army veteran of World War II and, before retiring, was employed at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.

He is survived by daughters, Diane (Keith), Debbie; son, Glenn (Anna); grandchildren, Christina, Matthew, Kyle, Trisha, Amanda; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Reifinger; granddaughter, Michele.
