Donald A. Beidler

formerly of Allentown

Donald A. Beidler, 94, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Allentown, died April 25, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Virginia H. (Hinkel) Beidler. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Earl T. and Norma A. (Rice) Beidler.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War Era with the rank of Sergeant.

He was employed as a cable splicer at the former Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania in Bethlehem for 35 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of American Legion Post 0945, Wormleysburg, and a member of The Lehigh Valley Council of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years.

He is survived by a daughter, Terry L. Bellucci and life companion, Brian Smith, of Allentown and his children, Kari Woods and Brian Smith Jr.

He was predeceased by siblings, Earl T. Jr., Ruth K. Moser, Bernice M. Ambers, Joyce Haller.

Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, handled the arrangements.
