May 9
Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, (Leather Corner Post) will hold its “Wheels at the Grove” car show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All vehicles are welcome. Last year they had cars, trucks and tractors. This year they will also have a motorcycle. All vehicles will be parked in their paved parking lot as space permits. There is a small registration donation fee. The event is free to visitors and there will be free parking. A printable registration form is available at Morgenlandchurch.org. Visit their website to see upcoming events, register for the car show or you can register the day of the event. They will have a trophy, the pastor prize, basket raffle, baked goods, rumble seat rides and 50/50 drawing. Their great cooks will serve breakfast, lunch and this year, free coffee. Sharing the Joy of Music is the theme for the program of the Allentown Music Club to be held 2;30 p.m. at The Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown. The performers are: The Asbury Trio, Sherman Cox, clarinet, Monika Short, soprano, and Steven Silvonek, piano. The program coordinator is Jonathan Beitler. The program is free and open to the public.
Leo’s Pediatric Cancer FUND-FEST will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Schnecksville Fire Company, 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville. This free, family-friendly event features live music, food trucks, cool cars, animal encounters, kids activities, raffles, first responders, new toy drive for kids in chemo, corn hole tournament, a community blood drive and beer garden 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information go to Leosleague.org.

K4K and FM Events, an event planner which organizes local craft fairs for artisans and small businesses to better connect with the community, will host a Spring into Summer Craft Fair 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shankweiler’s Drive In, 4540 Shankweiler Road, Orefield. Cetronia Ambulance Corps, 4300 Broadway, Allentown, will hosta free outdoor EMS for Children Day community event 1-4 p.m. Vendors and activities include: The Udder Bar and Take a Taco 1-3 p.m., live music by Hearts for Music PA 2:30-3:30 p.m. face painting and glitter tattoos, mini cows from Horns and Hooves Mobile Mini Moos 1-3 p.m., pet adoption from Starting Over Animal Rescue and more.
May 22-24
Mayfair Festival of the Arts returns to Cedar Crest College over Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24, featuring art, crafts, food, music, and live performances. Admission and on-site parking are free. Each day will feature food and beverage vendors, more than 35 artisan craft vendors, and Franki’s Fun Zone-complete with a climbing wall, Crayola table, bounce house and slide, inflatable obstacle course, trampoline, and train ride. The weekend will culminate in a drone show, with more than 200 illuminated drones lighting up the night sky in a showstopping finale. The Sanctuary at Haafsville will hold its third annual Fast and Furriest 5K Run and Walk 9 a.m. at Lehigh Parkway. Race day check-in begins 8 a.m. All runners must check in before the race.
