Carl A. Hauman, 89, of Walnutport, died April 30, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Serfass) Hausman for 62 years. Born in New Tripoli, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Krause) Hausman.

He graduated from Parkland High School in 1955 and was a layout operator with AT&T for many years. He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church in New Tripoli. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, participated and enjoyed baseball and softball.

He honorably served in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Dean J., Dale C., siblings, Richard, Ruth Depper.

A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m., with a funeral service 11 a.m. May 7 at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli.
