CMS News: Achievement Night planned for May 7

The Catasauqua Middle School Achievement Night is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. May 7. The event will showcase the hard work and talents of the students and will feature a student-led science fair and a career pathways interactive expo for students.

A Weller Center presentation about puberty and reproductive health will be shown to fifth-grade students May 7.

The CMS book fair continues May 7 and 8.

End-of-the-year field days are coming. Fifth-grade students will have field day May 12, sixth-grade field day is May 14, seventh-grade field day is May 19, and the eighth-grade field day is May 21.

Rain dates for the field days will be the week of May 26.

The CMS Lifeskills students will see “Seussical” at Pennsylvania Youth Theatre May 14.

***

The eighth-grade formal dance is scheduled for 5:30-8:30 p.m. May 16.

Eighth-grade students will take the algebra Keystone tests May 19 and 20.

***

The next CMS parent teacher forum meeting is set for 6 p.m. May 19.

Field days are being scheduled for the end of the year. Fifth-grade students will go to a heritage museum May 22, sixth-graders will visit SkyZone May 28, and the seventh-grade students be will going to Urban Air May 29.

School will be closed May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday.

***

There will be early dismissals June 8-10. CMS students will be dismissed 11 a.m.

No lunches will be served.

Powerballers Athletic Center, 2550 Brodhead Road, Bethlehem, is planning its 2026 summer camps for football, soccer, field hockey, flag football, baseball, softball and more. The camps run June through August.
