Barbara A. Weaknecht, 88, died peacefully in her home May 2, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Max and Catharine (Deisher) Biery. She was the wife of the late Jack W. W. Weaknecht.

She was a proud graduate of Emmaus High School and Allentown Business School.

She dedicated many years of her professional life to Western Electric and later lent her talents to several local bakeries, where her careful bookkeeping and steady reliability were deeply appreciated.

She was a gifted pianist who brought joy and rhythm to many as a longtime musician for the Brandywine Minstrels.

She was also a lifelong and devoted member of Longswamp UCC.

She is survived by her children: Kim Toth, widow of Andrew, Jill, wife of Theo, Jack, husband of Denise; sister, Elaine Ziegler, wife of Terry; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held 10-11 a.m. May 11 at Longswamp UCC, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown, followed by a service 11 a.m.
