Henry Louis Basile, 85, died April 16, 2026. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Salvatore Joseph and Rose A. (Gallotti) Basile.

He was employed as an industrial machinist. He was a member of Kingdom Life Family Center church in Orefield.

He was a man of faith who led by example.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine L. Straubinger (Bernard), of Orefield; son, Scott H., of Hackettstown, N.J.; sister, Gerri, of Keyport, N.J.; brother, Robert, (Margie), of Parsippany, N.J.; grandchildren, Tyler J. Demboski and Michelle, Michael E. Demboski and Miranda, Alexis R. Wetzel and Isaiah, Tierney L. Straubinger; great-grandchildren, Henry, Eden, Jaelah, Kharisse, Makenna, Austin, Cassidy.

He is predeceased by daughter, Robin Lynn, brother, Louis.
