Every marking period, teachers at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute recognize students for outstanding effort, improvement, achievement and leadership in their career and technical education programs and academic classes. Honorees are presented with certificates and gifts.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education will next meet 7-8:30 p.m. May 5 in the board room at the district administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua. This meeting is a first Tuesday of the month exception and is required for 30-day budget compliance.

CASD will have an early dismissal May 6. CHS students will be dismissed 12:50 p.m.

CHS students will have their prom May 15.

LCTI’s senior recognition night is right around the corner. The Class of 2026’s special night is May 28 at PPL Center in Allentown.

During this annual celebration, you’ll hear from inspiring student speakers, witness the presentation of certificates to all of LCTI’s seniors and the distribution of several schoolwide awards. You and your loved ones will want to be there for all the fun and memory-making.

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 will be 10-11:30 a.m. May 30 in the school gymnasium.
