Teen Academy application deadline May 30

The FBI Philadelphia Field Office is accepting applications for its summer Teen Academies.

The deadline for online applications is May 30.

The Teen Academy programs give high school students an opportunity to get a look into serving in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Open to ninth through 12th grade high school students, the program gives an inside look at some aspects of the FBI from national security to cyber and violent crimes.

Students also learn about critical response groups such as those dealing with weapons of mass destruction and crisis negotiations as well as SWAT and the Evidence Response Team. The FBI Philadelphia Field Office will host sessions in Abington, Williamsport and Wyoming in Pennsylvania and in Gloucester, N.J.
