Linda Kay Apple

Linda Kay Apple, 83, of Macungie and formerly of Whitehall, died April 18, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Charles A. Apple for 60 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Stanley F. and Arlene (Bernhard) Peters.

She was a 1960 graduate of Whitehall High School. She went on to earn an associate degree from Temple University School of Dental Hygiene in 1962.

She began her career in Bethlehem as a dental assistant. She also worked as a bookkeeper in Tallahassee, Fla., and for her father’s business, SF Peters Incorporated, Whitehall.

She was an active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, where she faithfully served on various committees.

She also served on the social committee at Legacy Oaks in Macungie. Growing up in Greenawalds, she was very active in Scouting and dance in her youth.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Melinda Marciniak with Steve and Kerissa Neal with Blaine; and six grandchildren, Mitchell, Peyton and Meredith Marciniak and Charles, Casey and Kaytlynn Neal.
