CMS News: Congratulations, Students of the Month

Congratulations to the April Roughies of the Month — Shaylynne Livingston, fifth grade; Izabella Ortiz, sixth grade; Avery Tomecek, seventh grade; Ciara Gass, eighth grade; and Charles Webber, related arts.

The students will be recognized at the school board meeting May 5.

The Catasauqua Middle School parent teacher forum spring dance is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. May 1.

Room 304 students will take part in Special Olympics May 1.

***

Fifth-grade students will take tours of Lehigh Career and Technical Institute 8:15-11 a.m. May 4.

May 4-8 is the CMS book fair.

The spring concert season is here. The CMS chorus concert is set for 7 p.m. May 5, and the CMS band concert will be 7 p.m. May 6.

Both concerts will be held at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

The middle of the fourth marking period is May 5.

Students from the news show, Room 304 and Student Forum will take a trip to the IronPigs May 5.

There will be an early dismissal May 6. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

A Weller Center presentation about puberty and reproductive health will be shown to fifth-grade students May 7.

***

The CMS Achievement Night will be held 6:30-8 p.m. May 7. The event will showcase the hard work and talents of the students and will feature a student-led science fair and a career pathways interactive expo for students.

End-of-the-year field days are coming. Fifth-grade students will have field day May 12, and the sixth-grade field day is May 14.
