Ronald N. Meixell, 82, of Bethlehem, died April 16, 2026. Born he was married to Dolores “Dottie” Novak, in May 1965, and together they shared nearly 61 years.

He graduated from Liberty HS in 1961. During his high school years, he excelled as the goalkeeper for Liberty’s soccer team and received the Jasper Award for outstanding sportsmanship.

His career spanned Bethlehem Steel Corp., Quaker State Vending, Service America and Compass Group. He was passionate about fishing, golfing and solving circle-a-word puzzles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; his son, Ron Jr., and his wife, Shelley Meixell, of Rockville, MD; his daughter, Erin, and her husband, Aaron Crutchfield, of New Market, MD; his sister, Nancy, and her husband, Joe Rodogna, of Bethlehem; and his brother-in-law, Thomas S. Novak, of Bethlehem.
