The Emmaus High School boys volleyball team remained undefeated with two victories last week.
The Hornets defeated Delaware Valley in straight sets last Monday by scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-21 and then were victorious over Pocono Mountain West in four sets last Wednesday (22-25, 25-20, 25-13, 25-12).
In the win over the Warriors, the attack was led by Sander Houtz, who finished with 11 kills, two assists, one block and one dig. Miles Boulrice tallied 10 kills, eight digs, one block and one assist. Grayson Answini recorded eight kills and three digs; Bilaal Kerim notched seven kills and four digs. Ben Skekel contributed 20 assists, three digs and three kills. Jayden Perez added 11 assists. Alex Dise had three kills and a block and both Kai Lipski and Chris Romig finished with two kills. Cameron Furniss rounded out the attack with one kill.
Stats from the victory against the Panthers were not available at the time of print.
Emmaus improved to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the conference. The Green Hornets hosted Nazareth (5-0 overall; 5-0 East Penn Conference) Tuesday, after Press deadline, in a meeting of unbeaten teams.
