Wildlands Conservancy announce summer camps, programs
Wildlands Conservancy recently announced the following summer camps, programs being offered.
·The 30th Lehigh River Sojourn is scheduled for June 19-21. Sign up for one, two or all three days. Camping options are available. Registration and pricing details are available online at https://www.wildlandspa.org/lehighriversojourn/.
·Summer Camp 2026 is scheduled June 8 through Aug. 21. There are 11 weeks to choose from and registration is open. For details on multiple locations, program content and registration, go to https://www.wildlandspa.org/camp/.
·2026 Stream Team volunteers will be held May 29-Sept. 25. Stream Team is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals, college students and community groups. Volunteers are encouraged to register at https://www.wildlandspa.org/streamteam/.
This May, Wildlands Conservancy is offering the following community and education adventures, which are free to the public.
·Wildlands Conservancy — PreK Pathfinders: Budding Birders at Trexler Nature Preserve will be held 10-11 a.m. May 5 at Trexler Nature Preserve, Environmental Education Center, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville. This program is for children ages 3-5 and their grown-ups. Observe live birds inside and up close before venturing outside to spy on their wild, feathered friends. ·Wildlands Conservancy – Wildflower Bioblitz and Meadow Restoration Tour will take place 10 a.m. to noon May 13 at Trexler Nature Preserve – MTB access, N. Range Utility Road, Schnecksville. Senior Restoration Ecologist Kate Ebel will lead the tour highlighting the meadow restoration Wildlands has completed, sharing insights into why meadow habitats matter and how native plants support wildlife.
