Emmaus Woman’s Club announces 2026 Girls of the Month

The Emmaus Woman’s Club recently announced its Girls of the Month awardees for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Award recipients are selected from outstanding Emmaus High School seniors. Honorees are recognized for the eight months from September to April. Accomplishments are celebrated in art, business/computer applications, drama, family/consumer science, journalism, music, mathematics and science.
The Woman’s Club of Emmaus began its Girl of the Month recognitions in 1953.
Honorees for the current academic year include:
Clara Isom, of Allentown, nominated by the EHS Art Department.
Isom is an active member in several honor societies including National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society.
Isom contributes illustrations to the EHS student newspaper “The Stinger” and the SUNN Post and participates in the marching band, brass ensemble and the hydroponics club at EHS.
Her distinctions include a national silver medal from Scholastic Art and Writing, accolades from the National Federation of Press Women, recognition as an Artist of the Year finalist and honors from the National Scholastic Press Association.
She has also won two press awards for her editorial cartoons.
She is also a two-time All-State oboist and intends to pursue studies in environmental engineering and music performance in college.
Victoria Montas, of Emmaus, nominated by the EHS Business Department.
Montas participates in a variety of clubs at EHS, including the winter track club, baking club, Black Student Union, Habitat for Humanity, Think Pink Club, fashion design club, PALS Club, National Honor Society and Kid-to-Kid Club.
She also works as a server and host and Perkins restaurant.
She intends to attend college in Florida to major in accounting with the goal of becoming a tax attorney and CPA.
Persia Mullay, of Emmaus, nominated by the EHS Drama Department.
Mullay currently serves the school theater department as its social media manager, overseeing the department’s online presence.
She also is president of choral group Aca Bella, copresident of Chorale at EHS and takes vocal lessons.
She participates in the Pediatric Cancer Club at EHS.
She also works as a server at Sweet Memories Café, Emmaus.
Mullay plans to pursue a major in psychology with the goal of becoming a school psychologist.
Olivya Kroope, of Allentown, nominated by the EHS Family/Consumer Science Department.
Kroope is a member of the Emmaus High School Girls Wrestling team, leading the team as captain.
She also is a member of National Honor Society and the Student Athlete Leadership Team.
Kroopes is a Hornet Ambassador and serves as a homeroom representative.
She plans to attend Penn West Edinboro.
Jessi Hahn, of Macungie, nominated by the EHS Journalism Department.
Hahn has participated in numerous school organizations and activities, including serving as a member of the EHS Varsity Dance Team, earning the National Dance Alliance All American winner award.
She also competed as part of the Emmaus Debate Team, which earned EPC District championship recognition.
A member of National Honor Society and the Kid-to-Kid Club she is also editor-in-chief of “The Stinger”student newspaper and is a Hornet Ambassador.
She has earned awards statewide and nationally for her layouts from the National Federation of Press Women, Keystone Media Awards and Quill & Scroll.
She is committed to West Chester University.
Marleigh Llewellyn nominated by the EHS Math Department.
Llewellyn is active in academic, athletic and musical organizations at EHS.
She is a member Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society, having served as secretary and historian. She also is a member of Tri-M Music Society.
She competes in track and field hurdles at the EPC Leagues.
She is secretary of American Computer Science League Club at EHS and is involved with the Hornet Ambassadors, Girls Who Code summer programs and serves as a tutor in the SAT Prep Club.
She has participated in PMEA Band Festivals on multiple levels and earned recognition as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student, AP Scholar and AP Scholar With Distinction.
She plays flute and piccolo as section leader and woodwind captain in the EHS Marching Band and also participates in the EHS Woodwind Quintet and Wind Ensemble.
She plans to continue performing in marching band at college, majoring in computer science with a minor in music studies.
Norah Hoffman, of Emmaus, nominated by the EHS the Music Department.
Hoffman has served as mellophone section leader in the Emmaus High School Marching Band and soprano section leader in Chorale.
Her extracurricular involvement also includes participation in music groups Aca Bella, Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble and Pit Orchestra at EHS. She also participated in the PMEA District 10 Band.
She is vice president of both the Tri-M Music Honors Society and the hydroponics club at EHS.
She intends to pursue a degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in neuroscience or flute performance and plans to earn a master’s degree following her undergraduate studies.
Lucy Gosnell, of Emmaus, nominated by the EHS Science Department
Gosnell is president of both the Spanish Club and No Place for Hate and also is a member of several honor societies, including Science Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and National Honor Society.
She is as a section leader in the EHS Marching Band and is active with the debate team.
She also has represented her school at the state level for History Day.
Her achievements at Emmaus High School include recipient of the Paul Rockwell Diely Memorial Award and being recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction.
Gosnell plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
