Weisenberg Fire Dept. holding fundraisers
Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department will host a Dine and Donate night at DeMarco’s Italian Restaurant on April 23.
Come on out and support the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department by stopping DeMarco’s from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tell your server you are there for the fire department or show the ad if you have it to your server, and 15% of your dine in food purchases will be donated to the WVFD.
The fire department is accepting orders until 5 p.m. April 28 for their hoagie sale.
Choose between Italian, with onions and peppers, or onion and no peppers or peppers and no onions or no onions or peppers; ham and American cheese; turkey; roast beef or tuna salad. Ingredients supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport.
They are also offering ice cream sandwiches from The Nesting Box Creamery available in vanilla soft serve with chocolate wafers, chocolate soft serve with chocolate wafers and vanilla soft serve with chocolate chip cookies.
Hoagie and ice cream sandwich pickup will take place 2-6 p.m. May 7 at the fire station, 2500 Golden Key Road, Kutztown.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will be hosting its Nickel Night Out previously known as their Penny Party April 17.
Doors open 5:30 p.m.
Games start at 7 p.m.
No pennies will be accepted.
Music will be by DJ Jason.
There will be great prizes, a 50/50 drawing, fun, fellowship and food for sale.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, (Leather Corner Post) is accepting orders until May 3 for their hoagie sale.
Options available are regular Italian with everything or no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers, ham and cheese; no onions or peppers, turkey; no onions or peppers, roast beef; no onions or peppers, tuna and veggie.
Ingredients supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport.
Hoagie pickup will take place 4-6 p.m. May 12.

The church’s “Wheels at the Grove” car show will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9.
All vehicles are welcome.
Last year they had cars, trucks, and tractors.
This year they will also have a motorcycle.
All vehicles will be parked in their paved parking lot as space permits.
A small registration donation fee will be taken.
The event is free to visitors and there will be free parking.

They will have a trophy, the pastor prize, basket raffle, baked goods, rumble seat rides, and 50/50 drawing. Their great cooks will serve breakfast, lunch and this year, free coffee.

Ziegels Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 23.
There will be food available for purchase to help raise funds for Wreaths Across America.
They will be selling baked goods, hot dogs and drinks.
